New 2019 Ford Focus ST is hotter than ever with 276bhp

New Ford Focus ST hatch and Estate boosted to 276bhp, while a diesel-version producing 187bhp will also be offered

New V6 petrol engine to be added to Volkswagen Touareg range

The Volkswagen Touareg will be offered with a 335bhp V6 petrol, due to arrive in the middle of 2019

The Volkswagen Touareg SUV’s engine lineup is set to expand soon with the introduction of a new petrol engine.

Growing the range beyond the two diesel options currently available will be 3.0-litre V6 unit producing 335bhp. That’s 53bhp up on the current range-topping V6 TDI, enough to deliver a 0-62 time which, at 5.9 seconds, makes the petrol two tenths quicker. Do You Know Your Highway Code?

Almost one-in-four motorists hasn’t picked up a Highway Code since they first passed their driving test, according to data gathered by Halfords Autocentres as part of its Roadworthiness Week campaign.

The nationwide servicing and repair chain surveyed over 22,000 drivers as part of the Halfords Autocentres Roadworthiness Quiz, which revealed the disturbing statistic.
