Honda Performance Development is making available—through Bring a Trailer—a 2022 Acura ARX-05 DPi race car. The car is from the Wayne Taylor Racing stable and was driven by Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque. The car was no slouch on the track, either, winning at Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen, and Road America.
The car sports its black, silver, and blue Konica Minolta No. 10 livery of its final race—the Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in September 2022.
According to HPD, the care is equipped with:
• A twin-turbocharged 600 hp 3.5-liter AR35TT V6 paired with a paddle-shifted Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox
• Double-wishbone pushrod suspension
• ORECA-built carbon-fiber monocoque
• Air-jack system
• Brembo six-piston brake calipers over AP Racing carbon rotors
• Staggered-width 18-inch Rotiform forged aluminum wheels
• Cosworth electronics and a McLaren ECU
• ORECA steering wheel with an inset MoTeC display unit
• Schroth Racing six-point harness
• Lifeline fire-suppression system
The car is ARX-05 is chassis No. 7, and was driven approximately 11,000 miles during the 2022 IMSA season, with engine replacements every 3,500 miles.
Bidding opened at at $175,000 and was up to $350,000 on Dec. 16.
The auction ends on Dec. 23.
